He was predeceased by : his parents, Essie Louise Huber Harrison and Charles Edward Sexton, Jr.; and his grandson Riley James Sexton. He is survived by : his wife Joyce Bryant Sexton; his children, Samuel Joseph Sexton (Amanda), John Benjamin Sexton (Amy) and Maggie Brooks Vandever (Jonathan); his grandchildren, Kai Joseph Sexton, Natalie Renee Sexton, Jayden Christopher Sexton, Hayley Anne Sexton, James Gabriel Raincrow and Mason Randall Vandever; and his sisters, Katherine Sexton Garza (Mando), Jennifer Sexton Leggett (Johnny) and Patricia Sexton Sigman. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
