Gladys P. Coleman Obituary
We are sad to announce that on November 4, 2025, at the age of 82, Gladys P. Coleman of Dewitt, Virginia passed away. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Isiah Johnson and Charlotte Johnson; her husband Wilfred Coleman Sr.; her siblings, Wilbert, Lawrence, Isiah, Kirkland, Geneva, Earline and Katherine; and her grandchildren, Jermell and Justin.
She is survived by: her children, Gladys V. Coleman, Brenda Coleman (Bruce), Wilfred Jr., James and William Coleman (Stacey); and her friend Scott Ragsdale. She is also survived by seven great-grandchildren, a host of nieces, nephews.
Viewing will be held on Tuesday, November 11th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Petersburg Chapel (530 S Sycamore St, Petersburg, VA 23803). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, November 12th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the Eleven Oaks Baptist Church (13012 Lew Jones Rd, Dewitt, VA 23840).
