She was predeceased by: her parents, Joe Freddie and Lucy Taylor; her former husband Calvin Clifton Bonner; and her siblings, Wallace Taylor, Waverly Massenburg Sr. and William Massenburg.
She is survived by: her sons, Tracy Jones, Darryl Bonner (Christine) and Kevin Bonner; her grandchildren, Kendrea Jones and Kira Bonner; her siblings, Freddie Leroy Taylor, Dolly Elaine Graves and David Taylor; and her friends, Patrick Jones, Delva Hite, Sandra Jones, Brenda Jones, Maureen Tucker and Debra Brown.
Viewing was held on Monday, November 3rd 2025 from 12:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Petersburg Chapel (530 S Sycamore St, Petersburg, VA 23803). A celebration of life was held on Tuesday, November 4th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Third Baptist Church (550 Farmer St, Petersburg, VA 23803).
