He was predeceased by : his parents, Earnest Gill and Myrtle Gill (Hall); and his siblings, Yvonne Gill and Jack Gill. He is survived by : his children, Robert Dale Gill, Rebecca Staples, Cathy Stanton, Steve Scott Martin, Yvonne Decarlo Gill, Samantha Charles Lane, Jesse Reece Turner, Kristene Mai Whitaker, Gordon Travis, Ryan Nichole Carter, Bobby Marie Hood, Courtney Taylor Fritz, Cheyenne Alexis Karr, Mackenzie Nicole Phomas, Jarrett Phomas, Kathy Shaughnessy and Donny Turner; his brother Steve Gill; and his friends, Hunter Rhoton, Marty, Julia Rhoton, Brenda, Terry Rhoton, Beth, Hank Moss, Wayne, Sherry Moore, John Puckett, Chris Rhoton, Cuma Blanton, Wendy Phomas and Phill Hass. He is also survived by many grandchildren and great grandchildren.
