He was loved and cherished by many people including : his parents, Bert Sutherland and Hazel Sutherland (Hall); his wife Patsy Cannoy Sutherland of Elk Creek, Virginia; his sons, Jeff (Melissa Sutherland), Greg (Connie Sutherland) and Wes (Crystal Sutherland); and his sisters, Peggy (Colen Haga) and Sarah (Frank Cox). He was also cherished by ten grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews and his dog.
