It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Gary Wayne Horton of Elk Creek, Virginia, born in Pulaski, Virginia, who passed away on April 25, 2021, at the age of 60, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by : his father Elwood Crockett Horton; and his siblings, Debra Horton Kelly and Michael Horton. He is survived by : his spouse Kim Coleman Horton; his mother Betty Lou Largen of Pulaski; his sons, Matthew Hampton Horton (Chesley Hash) of Baywood, VA and Benjamin Michael Horton of Galax; his parents-in-law, Luella M. Coleman and Ronald Coleman (Brenda); his siblings-in-law, Sally C. Selden (Frank) and Ron Coleman (Roxy); and his nephews, Andrew Phillips, Jacob Selden, Nathaniel Selden, Owen Selden and Riddock Herrmann.

In lieu of flowers, Gary would want his friends and family to support their local high school sporting events in his honor.
