We are sad to announce that on December 1, 2020, at the age of 83, Ada Doris Wyant of Elkton, Virginia passed away. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Clark Shifflett and Bertha Wood Shifflett; her husband John Everett Wyant; her son James Everett Wyant; and her siblings, Elmer Shifflett, Linwood Shifflett, Kemper Shifflett, Gladys Hensley, Betty Williams, Dorothy Wyant, Elsie Kathleen Gooden, Leatha Collier, Mamie Baugher, Beatrice Beasley and Bertha Lawson.
She is survived by: her children, Richard Lee Wyant (Rachael) of Elkton, Doris Turner of Harrisonburg, Clara Secrist of Shenandoah and Mary Lam (Virgil) of Elkton; her sister Maggie Dean (Willard) of Elkton; and her grandchildren, Monica Wyant, Jonathan Lam, Rachel Hensley, Amanda Hensley, Steven Eppard, C. J. Secrist, Niki Park, Melissa Wyant, Melinda Wyant, Justin Wyant and Raven Wyant. She is also survived by eight great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
Facial coverings and social distancing will be required for the health of others.
