It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Bernece Pearl Breeden of Elkton, Virginia, who passed away on November 17, 2020, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Doc Breeden and Gussie Meadows Breeden; and her siblings, Irene Eppard, Arbutus Eppard, Alda Dean, Ina Eppard, Ruth Eppard, Magnolia Breeden, Eula Dean and Ivan Breeden.
She is survived by: her children, Ricky Breeden (Vicki), Donna Samuels (Pete), Barry Eppard, Rozmary Alger (Eddie) and Melody Sours (Gary); her grandchildren, Krista Cook Swisher, Misty Rinaca (Richard), Eddie Alger Jr. (Sheina), Adam Alger (Carrie Ann), Amanda Eppard (Mark Cobb), Brandon "Buc" Breeden (Angie), Clinton Breeden, Dustin Sours, Whitney Breeden (Brandon Wright), Emily Sours (DJ McDaniel), Billy Samuels III, Jonsie Alger (Ariel Hammer), Katrina Gordon (J. W.) and John Haney; her great grandchildren, Brianna, Hannah, Emma, Aiden Rinaca, Christian, Anthony Contreras, Kinzley Cobb, Conner Miller, Olivia Breeden, Grayson Wright, Chase Swisher, Layla Forbes, Noah Samuels, Dakota Alger (Allison Patrick), Joseph Jr., Joslyn Alger, Tucker, Grace, Rylan Breeden, Braydn Seekford, Aderiel Alger, Hayden McDaniel, Aiden Haney, Audric Haney, Brynn and Brielle Gordon; and her sister-in-law Oakley Breeden. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and extended family.
Facial coverings and social distancing will be required for the health of others.
