He was predeceased by: his parents, Russell Grubbs and Mearl McDaniel Grubbs; and his brother Bobby Grubbs. He is survived by: his wife Sandra Irby Grubbs; his daughter Melissa Daniels (Phillip); and his siblings, Lannie Grubbs, Nancy Miller (Lloyd), Lois Lawhorne and Sandra Parker (Steve).
