We are sad to announce that on June 5, 2019, at the age of 86, Russell David Reid Jr. (Evington, Virginia), born in Clifton Forge, Virginia passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Grace Johnson Reid and Russell D. Reid, Sr.; his former wife Barbara Johnson Reid; his sister Betty Jo Smith; his brother-in-law Buddy Smith; and his stepson Brady Losh.
He is survived by: his wife Frances Smith Reid; his stepson Allison Losh; his daughter Grace Verderosa (John); his sister Mary Ann Laughlin (Jim); his siblings-in-law, Elton Johnson (Faye) and Nancy Baker; and his grandson Tyler. He is also survived by nieces, nephews.
In lieu of flowers the family requests that donations be made to the Evington, VA Volunteer Fire Dept., 10624 Colonial Hwy, Evington, VA 24550 or to Second Chances Garage, Inc. in Frederick, MD.
