She was predeceased by : her parents, James N Barnes and Pearl Mae Barnes; her husband Jack Johnson; her son Kenny Johnson; and her siblings, James F. Barnes and Joyce Barnes.

She is survived by : her children, Karen Johnson, Jackie Johnson and Chris Johnson. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, family and friends.
