She was predeceased by : her husband James A. Whitehead; and her parents, Archibald MacNayr and Dorothy MacNayr (Ray). She is survived by : her children, Patricia A. Whitehead-Thembani of Fairfax, VA and James A. Whitehead, Jr. of Deland, FL; her siblings, David MacNayr of Plymouth, Judy Kelley of Hyannis and Bessie Kimball of Hyannis; and her grandchildren, Stephanie, Cassandra and Jeremey. She is also survived by seven great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

As an expression of sympathy, memorial donations may be made to the charity of one's choice.
