He is survived by: his significant other Patrice Lanell Allen Flood; his children, Lavinia V. Kirkland, Chaz A. Flood and D'Lontae U. Flood Sewell; his grandchildren, Bradley Ashe, Kamori Sullivan, Kenaz Sullivan and Elijah James U. Sewell; his siblings, Marilyn Scales, Denise Rice, Tina Jones, Randolph Flood and Dennis Jones; his siblings-in-law, Tarsha Allen, Mary Lindsay and Albert J. Allen; his siblings' children, Katrina Clark Mercer (Jeffrey), Stephen Clark, Jr., Edward Lindsay, Jr. and Vincent Lindsay; his great-nephews, Isaiah, Jeremiah Lindsay and Mathieu Mercer; his niece Danielle Flood Vann; his goddaughters, Essence Johnson and Lasheantea Davis; and his nieces, Jessica M. Lewis and Taisha Haygood-Lewis.
