It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Luciano Maligaya Atienza (Falls Church, Virginia), who passed away on December 3, 2025, at the age of 100, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He is survived by: his wife Amparo; his children, Josie (Buddy), Larry (Violy), Daisy (Bong), Pol (Cora), Sally, Ehmie (Ronnie), Louie (Marylou), Boni (Josie) and Emil (Hyeyon); and his siblings, Juling of Sagun, Ligaya of Sagun, Amparo Malabanan and Ed Atienza. He is also survived by 18 grandchildren, 24 great grandchildren and 3 great great grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, December 10th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the National Funeral Home (7482 Lee Hwy, Falls Church, VA 22042). A funeral Mass will be held on Thursday, December 11th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the St. Anthony de Padua Catholic Church (3305 Glen Carlyn Rd, Falls Church, VA 22041). A committal service will be held on Thursday, December 11th 2025 from 11:30 AM to 1:00 PM at the National Memorial Park (7482 Lee Hwy, Falls Church, VA 22042).
