He was predeceased by: his parent Fannie Ann Morton (Gilliam); and his sister Karyn Gilliam-Smith. He is survived by: his stepfather Stacy Morton, Sr.; his children, Corey Daniels, Sr. and Melissa Gilliam; his brothers, Gregory Gilliam, Sr., Travis Gilliam (Tamara), Stacy Morton, Jr. (Amiyah) and Marcus Morton (April); his grandchildren, Lillian, Corey Jr. and Carey Daniels; and his goddaughter Kiona Holland. He is also survived by nieces nephews cousins and friends.
Visitation was held on Friday, May 30th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 7:30 PM at the Bland-Reid Funeral Home (413 Griffin Blvd, Farmville, VA 23901). A funeral service was held on Saturday, May 31st 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Sharon Baptist Church (1130 Plank Rd, Farmville, VA 23901).
