It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Janet Faye Benson of Fincastle, Virginia, born in Roanoke, Virginia, who passed away on October 31, 2020, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by : her parents, Elmer Settles and Elizabeth Settles; and her husband Carl H. "Jack" Benson. She is survived by : her daughter-in-law Cindy Benson. She is also survived by 5 children, 1 sister, 1 brother, and a number of grandchildren, great grandchildren, numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.

In lieu of flowers the family has requested that memorial donations be made to TOYS 4 BOT-E-TOTS.
