We are sad to announce that on January 11, 2021, at the age of 85, Isaac Nelson Atkins Jr. of Flint Hill, Virginia passed away. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his father Isaac Nelson Atkins Sr.; his wife Rosalie Clem Atkins; and his siblings, Lynn Jackson Atkins and Doris Ann Atkins. He is survived by: his children, Carol Johnson (C. B. Johnson Jr.) of Sperryville, Virginia, David Atkins Sr. (Penny Atkins) of Flint Hill, Virginia and Cathy Ballantyne of Warrenton, Virginia.; his grandchildren, Ashley Woodward (Jon Woodward), Nicole Hanback (Tucker Hanback), David Atkins Jr., Jake Ballantyne, Mikayla Johnson and Eric Ballantyne; and his great grandchildren, Harper and Oliver Hanback.

Sincerest thanks are also extended to the staff of the Lynn Care Center for your vigilant and compassionate care over the past several months, especially in the light of current COVID-19 restrictions.
