She is survived by: her parent Ruth Perkins Carson; her husband Clifford Lupton Kirkpatrick of Forest; her son Michael Sean Kirkpatrick (Melanie) of Forest; her siblings, Norma Kirby of Powhatan, Gayle Phelps of Richmond, Ann Howell of Gretna and William Ziegler (Marie) of Roanoke; her siblings-in-law, Joyce Houston of Lynchburg, Rebecca Myers of High Point, NC and Kenneth Kirkpatrick (Joyce) of Portland, ME; her grandchildren, Kristen Kirkpatrick Hall (Michael) of Greensboro, NC and Zachary Sean Kirkpatrick of St. Louis, MO; and her great grandchild Parker Thomas Hall of Greensboro, NC. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews.
