She was predeceased by : her parents, Roy Wade and Maggie Wade; her brothers, Frank and Howard Wade; her husband Edward Saunders; her children, Edward "Skeet" Saunders, Arlene "Tinks" Saunders and William "Michael" Saunders; her grandsons, Richard "Lewis" Saunders and Darius Saunders, Jr.; and her child Clearsey.
She is survived by : her children, Patricia Fralin (Robert) of Wirtz, Virginia, Velma Manns (Bernard) of Ferrum, Mary McGhee (MacArthur) of Rocky Mount and Darius Saunders (Jennifer) of Ferrum; and her sister Alesia Tyree-Anderson (Danny) of Rocky Mount. She is also survived by seven children, 20 grandchildren, 57 great-grandchildren and 22 great-great grandchildren.
