It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Estelle Edwards (Franklin, Virginia), born in Isle of Wight, Virginia, who passed away on March 13, 2018, at the age of 74, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parent Ernest Carpenter; her daughter Betty Sue Edwards; and her brothers, Joseph Carpenter, Rueben Carpenter and Ernest Mills Carpenter.
She is survived by: her parent Susie Duck Carpenter; her husband Cecil Ernest Edwards; her children, Cecil E. Edwards, Jr., Ronnie Andrew Edwards and Susan Estelle Edwards Robertson (Jerry); her brothers, Jonas Carpenter and Mack Carpenter (Connie); her grandchildren, Kelly E. Donnell (Chaz), Chelsey E. Blakley (Quinton), Nikki Robertson, Ridge Edwards (Samantha), Jackson Edwards and Josh Edwards; her great grandchildren, Alexys, Abbygale, Quinton Jr., Michaela Blakley, Spencyr Edwards, Aidyn Edwards and Bryer Donnell; and her friend Betty Jean Butler.
The family suggests memorial donations may be made in memory of Estelle to the American Cancer Society or American Heart Association.
