He was predeceased by : his parents, Archie Morris and Evelyn Morris; his wife Justine Morris; his daughter Pearline Morris; and his sister Geneva Talley.

He is survived by : his children, Bennie Morris, Ennos Morris, Wanda Johnson, Minnie Hill, Joanne Rutledge and Christine Marshall; his sisters, Evelyn Tyler, Adele Goss and Mary Cook; and his siblings-in-law, Frank Talley, Hazel Ruth Lewis, Arlene Morris, Frances Jackson and Margaret Bright. He is also survived by 15 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
