It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Geneva Jean Hackler of Fredericksburg, Virginia, who passed away on December 17, 2021, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was loved and cherished by many people including : her parents, Claude Ray Helt and Eva Boyd Helt of Tulsa, OK; her brother Dewey Helt of Tulsa, OK; her children, Deborah Hackler Bliss (Alan) of Stafford and William Lee Hackler Hackler (Sherry) of Angleton, TX; her grandchildren, Angela Bliss Tolbert (Nathan) of Orange, Jillian Bliss Scott (Shawn) of Stafford, Jamie Hackler Stillwell (Jessie) of Tahlequah, OK, Jason Morgan (Mary) of Sapulpa, OK and Dustin Hackler (Lacey) of Angleton, TX; and her husband Wendell G. Hackler. She was also cherished by 17 great-grandchildren; and five great-great grandchildren.

She lost her mother at 5 years old, was injured in a car accident at 29 that left her partially paralyzed from the waist down, widowed at 50, survived 3 heart attacks, two strokes, and COVID.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Fredericksburg Salvation Army.
