She was predeceased by: her parents, Richard Colvin and Beatrice Mitchell Colvin; her siblings, Richardine Jackson, Janet Berksteiner, Richard "Buddy" Colvin Jr. and Elsie Colvin Cooper; and her grandson LeRoy Hunter Upshur.
She is survived by: her son Dr. Marshall LeRoy Upshur (Elaine Polk Upshur) of Fredericksburg, Virginia; and her brother Walter Colvin (Sheryl Faye Colvin) of Fernandina Beach, Florida. She is also survived by many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews, extended family, friends.
