With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Doris Johnson of Fries, Virginia, who passed away on February 21, 2021 at the age of 83. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by : her parents, Robert Taylor and Vera Swinney Taylor; her husband Walter Hix Johnson; and her sister Juanita Wampler. She is survived by : her children, Winona (Doug Miller), Wynn (Jeff Combs), Warren (Ruth Johnson), Wayne (Annalee Johnson) and Wade (Barbara Johnson); her sister Mary; her brother-in-law Alan Waller of Fries, Virginia; her brothers, Gene (Vina Taylor), Jerry (Donna Taylor) and Joe (Nancy Taylor); her grandchildren, Doug, Matt Johnson, Rachael Hartley, Andrew, Chloe, Abigail, Matthew, Michael Johnson, Chenoa Montgomery, Hix Miller, Lindsay Oliver, Joyelle Edmondson, Danielle Liddle, Joseph Johnson, Eden Gates and Marie McKnight; her brother-in-law Bobby Johnson; and also Mabel Duncan. She is also survived by twenty great-grandchildren.
