She was predeceased by: her parents, George Cook and Bernice O'Brien Cook; her former husbands, Vernon King and Wesley Saul; and her stepsons, Michael Saul and Larry Saul.
She is survived by: her husband Kenneth Willis Hoppe of Front Royal; her children, Debra Midkiff (Charles) of Strasburg, Virginia, Michael R. King (Dot) of Front Royal and David N; her stepchildren, Anita Lloyd (Tim) of Beaufort, Richard Hoppe of Fort Worth, Steve Hoppe (Wendy) of Gloucester and Bobby Hoppe (Barbara) of Virgilina, Virginia; her siblings, Carolyn Barrett (Fred) of Presque Isle, Michigan and David Cook (Marilyn) of Lynchburg, Virginia; and her grandchildren, Middy Midkiff (Amy), Becky Midkiff-Lawson, Brian Midkiff (Christina), Edward Midkiff (Jasmine), Zach King (Jess), Steven Melone (Alyssa), Jillian McDunn (Matt), Peggy Haney (Brian) and Jennifer Kendall (Chris). She is also survived by 22 great grandchildren; five great great grandchildren and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
