He was predeceased by: his parents, Arthur Ernest Monson and Susie Swider Monson; his daughter Anita Monson; and his sister Lilian Vogel Suter. He is survived by: his wife Edith Foard Monson; and his children, Virginia Hamilton of Martinez, GA, Steve Monson of Bluemont, VA, Patricia Franks of Hampton Cove, AL, Melinda Linderman and Chris Monson of Martinsburg, WV. He is also survived by 13 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; and 3 great-great-grandchildren.
