He was predeceased by: his parents, James Farrar and Mary Albert Farrar; and his sister Charlotte Ramey. He is survived by: his son Jeffery Clark Farrar (Dianne) of Jacksonville, Florida; his sister Susan Thomas (Richard) of Front Royal; his grandchildren, Jamie and Alex Farrar (Jessica); and his great grandchildren, Hazel Farrar and Tyler Wilson.

In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to Blue Ridge Hospice, 333 West Cork Street, Winchester, Virginia 22601.
