He was predeceased by: his parents, James Chambers and Cordella White Chambers; and his siblings, Arthur, Frankie, Delolas and Olivine.
He is survived by: his wife Thelma C. Chambers; his children, Larry Chambers (Tracy), Douglas Chambers (Sharon), Geronima Chambers (Tessie), Mary Ann Ferrill (Bill) and Elizabeth Patterson (Larry); and his brothers, Carl Chambers (Ann) and Parkus Chambers (June). He is also survived by eight grandchildren; twenty great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
