She was predeceased by: her parents, Mamie Printz-Hamm and Henry Jenkins; her husband Robert "Poppa" Tharpe; her daughter Ruth Frazier; and her sister Frances Cameron.
She is survived by: her daughter Barbara Frazier (Charlie); her son-in-law Lynwood Frazier; and her grandchildren, Robert Taylor, Vicki Crafton, Ronda Miranda, Ricky Taylor, Jeff Seal, Susan Lockhart, Jr., Bonnie Taylor and Tracy Vina. She is also survived by 20 great great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
