He was predeceased by: his parents, Raymond Sr. Jenkins and Landora Thompson Jenkins; his son Thomas Barbee; and his siblings, Edward, Elmer, Wilmer Jenkins, Christabell Bumgardner and Catherine Rutherford.
He is survived by: his wife Reta M. Jenkins of Front Royal; and his children, Raymond "Ray" S. Jenkins III of Front Royal, John Barbee of Stanley, Virginia, Sally A. Berry of Bentonville and Reta Fay Vaught of Front Royal. He is also survived by 13 grandchildren and numerous great grandchildren.
