He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Valdez and Rose Rivera Valdez; and his sisters, Teresa Hoier, Maryann Bush and Joann Trujillo.
He is survived by: his wife Doris M. Valdez of Front Royal; his sons, Mark Valdez of Winchester, Kevin Valdez (Tami) of Winchester and Scott Valdez of Front Royal; his grandchildren, Aliyah Valdez of Arlington, Chelsea Valdez of Warrenton and Evan Valdez of Warrenton; his great grandchild Julian Thomas; and his pet Muffin. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to a charity of one's choice.
