He was predeceased by: his parents, Cora Bell and Jess McKinley Mitchell; and his daughter Brandi Nicole Cook. He is survived by: his wife Tammy Teresa Cook; his children, Travis James Cook (Christina) and Olivia Ann Cook; his siblings, John Daryl Mitchell, Jerry Dean Mitchell, Joseph Dannie Mitchell, Patricia May Wilkerson, Alice Sue Michaud, Jessie Lee Salvador, Charlotte Yvonne Cunningham, Connie Gail Marion and William Edward Mitchell; and his grandchildren, Sella Cook, Travis Cook Jr., Charlotte Cook, Elsa Cook, Harper Cook, Colt Cook, Samuel Cook, Allison Cook, Alexis Walters, Payton Moore, Adiana Printz and Braylen Moore.
