He was predeceased by: his father Ernest Michael Flynn; his parents-in-law, Robert and Opal West; and his sister-in-law Tammy Smith. He is survived by: his wife Donna Marie West Flynn; his children, Charles Michael, Sean Patrick, Liam Connor and Laurel Marie; his mother Leslie Flynn; his sister Megan Bueter (Nick); and his sibling's children, Jack, Ben, Ryan, Evan, Erica, Rebecca, Jessica, Geneva, Lena and Eloise. He is also survived by numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins.
Donations may be made in Ryan's name to the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation.
