He was predeceased by : his parents, Freddie Augustus and Johnella Banks, Sr. (Parm). He is survived by : his sister Mary Scruggs of Elgin, IL. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews, cousins and many friends.

In lieu of flowers, friends may make memorials to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital and will be accepted at the funeral home.
