With heavy hearts, we announce the death of James Andrew Perkins Jr. (Gainesville, Virginia), born in Hamden, Ohio, who passed away on September 5, 2019 at the age of 87. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, James A. Perkins, Sr. and Geneva Perkins (Funk); his wife Virginia Perkins (Rapa); his close friend Sue Livingston (Breymier); and his siblings, Ralph Perkins and Clair Perkins.

He is survived by: his stepson Larry Salyer of Troy, Ohio; his sister Jean Graf of New Hampshire; his nieces, Baar Graf of New Hampshire and Joann Graf of Canada; and also, Brent Livingston of Haymarket, Virginia and Sheri Livingston of Haymarket, Virginia.
