With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Joseph Allen Kerns of Gainesville, Virginia, born in Richmond, Virginia, who passed away on September 19, 2021 at the age of 64. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by : his parents, Joseph Andrew and Bette Kerns (Moore). He is survived by : his wife Patricia Kerns (Pappano); his children, Philip Kerns (Meghan) and Jennifer Gusmer (Matthew); his grandchildren, Ryder, Adalyn and Knox Kerns; and his sisters, Jeanne Layne and Agatha JoAnne King.
