Alice A. Anderson Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Alice A. Anderson of Galax, Virginia, who passed away on September 16, 2021, at the age of 97, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Charles Andrews (Charlie) and Callie Roberts Andrews; her husband Joe L. Anderson; and her brother-in-law F. H. Anderson (Tater). She is survived by: her son Joe Michael (Mike); her daughter-in-law Geneva Anderson of Galax, Virginia; her stepgrandson Tyler L. Newman (Kelsey A. Newman) of Mechanicsville, Virginia; and her sisters-in-law, Jan Hugo of Newport News, Virginia, Pearl Anderson of New Castle, Virginia and Shirley Anderson of Galax, Virginia. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews and special cousins.
Mask and social distancing will be required for the visitation and the funeral service.
Flowers will be appreciated or donations may be made to the First United Methodist Church.
