She was predeceased by : her parents, Ralph Amos Spence and Bessie Mazie Stuttler Spence; her husband Carl O'dell Farmer; her brother Rome Pierce Spence; her cousin Joyce Marie Stuttler Quesenberry; and her great-niece April Nicole McCraw.
She is survived by : her children, Woodrow Franklin Kettell (Gail) of Hillsville, Timothy James Farmer (Debra) of Galax, Robert Amos Farmer (Lynn) of Hillsville and Amy Carol Ramirez (Antonio) of Sparta, NC; her sister Annie Spence Riegel; her grandchildren, Amanda Hernandez (Francisco), Zac Farmer, Tiffany Farmer, Hector Amos Torres (Chelsea), Desiree Farmer, Eli Ramirez and Antonio Ramirez; and her great grandchildren, Ayden, Ezekiel, Zoey, Mallory, Elias and Ella. She is also survived by two step-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews; and several great-nieces and great-nephews.
