He was predeceased by: his wife Berylene Lundy Patton; and his brothers, Wallace, Wesley, Claby and Freddie.
He is survived by: his daughters, Pam Hughes (Donnie) of Gibsonville, N. C. and Karen Poole (Terry) of Woodlawn; his granddaughters, Jenny Greene (Tony) and Sara Lambert (Travis); and his great grandchildren, Silas Greene, Emily Greene, Ella Lambert and Grady Lambert.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorials be made to Asbury United Methodist Church in Galax, or to the Multiple Sclerosis Society.
