With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Shelia Frost Hooven of Galax, Virginia, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on April 18, 2025 at the age of 68. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, William Igo and Fern Frye Igo; her son Michael Neal Frost; and her brother Dean Igo. She is survived by: her husband Ronald Alan Hooven of Galax, Virginia; her daughter Jennifer; her son-in-law Jerry Mason of Hillsville, Virginia; her son Charlie Frost of Galax, Virginia; her siblings, Janet Patterson, Valerie (Connie Williams), Carolyn (Darrell Fowler) and Patrick Igo of Galax, Virginia; her sisters-in-law, Renee Igo of Raleigh and Cathy Frost of Cana, Virginia; and her granddaughter Haley Mason. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews; many special family friends.

In lieu of flowers the family respectfully request donations be made to the Snow Hill Baptist Church.
