With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Larry Mallory Jones Sr. of Gasburg, Virginia, who passed away on July 22, 2025 at the age of 85. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his wife Justine Stansbury Jones of Valentine's Day; his parents, Sidney Rivers Jones, Jr. and Virginia Spragins Jones; and his brothers, John Wesley "Dick" Jones and Nelvin R. Jones.
He is survived by: his children, Lori J. Bentley (Scott) and Larry Mallory Jones, Jr.; his grandchildren, Virginia and Colin Bentley; his sisters, Lucy C. Clary and Judy L. Taylor (Tom); and his siblings-in-law, Sandra S. Williams (Mike), A. Alex Lockerman and Shelby Jones. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Visitation will be held on Friday, July 25th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Williams Funeral Home and Crematory (410 Windsor Ave, Lawrenceville, VA 23868). A memorial service will be held on Friday, July 25th 2025 at 4:00 PM at the same location.
The family requests that donations be made in Larry's memory to Antioch Christian Church, P.O. Box 251, Gasburg, VA 23857.
