He was predeceased by: his parents, James Ira and Margaret Lane (Lane); and his brothers, Bobby, Ralph, Roy and Teddy Lane.
He is survived by: his son Stacy Lane of Bristol, VA; and his siblings, Martha Kendrick of Gate City, VA, Linda Sanders (Glenn) and Tony Randall Lane of Gate City, VA. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
