With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Dorothy Brown of Glade Hill, Virginia, who passed away on March 2, 2021 at the age of 86. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by : her husband J. Clyde Brown; her parents, William Early Maxey and Mary Cundiff Maxey; and her brothers, William Raymond Maxey and Billy Maxey.

She is survived by : her daughter Linda B. Hodges (Tommy); her grandchildren, Brandon S. Hodges and Kelsey M. Hodges (Matt); her great grandchildren, Natalie Brown and Payton King; and her sister-in-law Elizabeth Maxey.

Due to Covid, a private graveside service will be held for the family at Franklin Memorial Park with Rev. Betty Marshall officiating.
