He is survived by : his wife Carrie Susan Barnes Kiser; his children, Kayla Kiser of Fieldale, Charli Deal of Fieldale and Kenneth Mack Maples of Coeburn; his brothers, Jeff Kiser (April) and Tony Kiser (Deborah) of Myrtle Beach, SC; his stepfather Clayton McGuire of Kernersville, NC; his grandchildren, Draven Maples and Gabriel Deal; his niece Ashley Nicole Kiser (Casey McBride) of Rocky Mount; his nephews, Jeffery Kiser II of Knoxville, TN, Nicholas Kiser and Justin Kiser; his adoptive son Daniel Ray McBride of Rocky Mount; his great-niece Hailey Nicole McBride; and his great-nephew C. J. McBride.
