He was predeceased by: his parents, George Dewey Collum, Sr. and Nellie Marie Sherwood Collum; his son David Allen Collum; and his siblings, George Dewey Collum, Jr., Shirley Northern and Jean Collum.
He is survived by: his wife Mary Rachel Eastridge Collum; his children, Jon Collum of Burlingame, Calif., Nancy Walko (Craig) of Orlando, Fla., Walter Pollard (Stephanie) of Sneads Ferry, N. C., John David Pollard (Vivienne) of Manchester and Michelle Colon of Glade Spring; and his great grandchildren, Maltipoo and Zoe. He is also survived by 11 grandchildren.
Due to concerns related to Covid, the family is not receiving guests at home.
