He was predeceased by: his father Wilford Warren Parris; his stepfather Albert Dexter Hicks; and his stepsister Rebecca Hicks. He is survived by: his mother Virginia "Jenny" Hicks; his fiancée Sharon Sturgill; his son Brayden Parris; his siblings, Angela Rominger and Charles Hicks (Rhonda); and his close friend Joey Callahan. He is also survived by several aunts, uncles and cousins.
