It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Gwendolyn Glennie Anderson Wade of Gladys, Virginia, born in Halifax, Virginia, who passed away on October 19, 2023, at the age of 94, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her spouse Boeling Ellis Wade; and her parents, Robert Lee Anderson and Bessie Wright Anderson. She is survived by: her daughter Jody Wade Miles (Shelton) of Gladys; her grandchildren, Wyatt S. Miles IV (Katie) of Atlanta, Erin M. Spickard (James) of Brookneal and Emily J. Miles (Pieter Visser); her great grandchildren, Abigail, Lauralee, Maggie, Judah Spickard, Noah and Charlie Visser; her sister Janice Wright (Ben) of Rustburg; and her sister-in-law Jackie Wade of Nathalie.
