She was predeceased by: her husband Edward Sams; and her parents, Richard Patrick and Lucy May. She is survived by: her children, Diane Sams, Vicky Sams Young, David Sams (Rhonda) and Lisa Sams Midgette (Brian); her grandchildren, Patrick Young (Ornella), Will Young, Ellis Young, Chelsea Midgette, Channing Hessberg (Nathaniel), Aaron Sams (Crystal) and Joseph Sams (Brandi); and her great grandchildren, Aria, Poppy, Weller, Jonathan, Josiah, Isaiah and Elijah.
A graveside service will be held on Tuesday, June 3rd 2025 at 12:00 PM at the Mount Vernon Memorial Park (11200 Nuckols Rd, Glen Allen, VA 23059).
