With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Marie Tate Burton (Glen Allen, Virginia), who passed away on May 4, 2022 at the age of 93. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was loved and cherished by many people including: her father Latney W. Adams, Sr.; her sons, Wilton Allen Tate, Jr. and Jerry Lynn Tate, Sr. (Sonja K. Tate); her husbands, Wilton Allen Tate, Sr. and Robert Burton; her daughter-in-law Sandra E. Tate; and her brother Latney W. Adams, Jr.. She was also cherished by six grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; and a host of nieces and nephews.
