Payne Jr. (Gwen), Gary B. Payne (Carolyn) of Goochland, Virginia, Roslyn Hawkins of Upper Marlboro, Cassandra Payne-Pace and Doris Payne-Howard of Henrico, Virginia; her siblings-in-law, John Hawkins Sr. of Charlotte and Annie Myers of Afton, Virginia; and her close friends, Carol Josenberger of Henrico, Francis Torry of California and Claudette Sawyer of New York. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends.
Visitation was held on Friday, March 13th 2026 at 10:00 AM at the St. Peter Baptist Church (2040 Mountain Rd, Glen Allen, VA 23060). A funeral service was held on Friday, March 13th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
